Q. How long do I have to meditate for it to be effective?
A. Meditation can be as short as three breaths, or as long as several hours. It's not the length of the meditation that makes it effective, it's all about how present you are in the meditation.
Q. How often should I meditate?
A. I find that taking a few minutes every day to meditate helps me to be less stressed.
Q. I'm not comfortable in the position they say I have to be in to meditate. What should I do?
A. Get into a comfortable position. If you are uncomfortable your focus will be on your discomfort and you will miss out on the purpose of the meditation. But don't get too comfortable. If you curl up in a ball on your bed and go to sleep you will not get the full benefit of the meditation.
